In order to determine the processing order, the HouseKeys team holds a lottery/drawing which assigns a priority number to each household applicant who has received an Application ID Number and has submitted a Lottery Submission Form.  Each Lottery stands on its own with a set of rules that determine who is eligible to enter (e.g. Application IDs with Households who live and/or work in Morgan Hill).  If a Lottery is labeled "General Admission" that means that there is no additional requirement above and beyond Household Eligibility.  Check out the Program Guide for more info on Household Eligibility.

We will have random lotteries throughout 2016.  It's important that you check our website frequently so you don't miss an opportunity.  If you see a Lottery opportunity posted on our website (and you have an Application ID number and attended the Housekeys Home Buyer Orientation) and you did not receive a Lottery Notification, please email us before the deadline to enter the lottery at bmr@housekeys.org and we will give you instructions.  You can also reach us at (408) 684-8712.

LOTTERY 1.0 - was held August 14, 2015

This lottery was held for existing application files that were opened with the previous administrator, Neighborhood Housing Services Silicon Valley.  There were 70 applications in the transfer and all Application ID numbers were entered into the lottery/drawing held on August 14, 2015.  We worked quickly to narrow the field down to qualified household applicants.  Many applications were ruled out because their Household Area Median Income (AMI) tier was above the income level for the property.  13 properties were released and made available for sale in this lottery.  The lottery was a "general admission" lottery with no additional restrictions placed on applicants besides meeting the standard household income, asset and first-time home buyer requirements.

LOTTERY 1.1 - was held October 26, 2015

This lottery was an extension of the lottery held on August 14th and had only one BMR unit in its release.  The unit is restricted for households earning at or less than 73% of the Area Median Income (AMI).  The unit is located in the Cypress at Tilton Park Development Project by KB Home (Plan 1).  The Property Address is 31 Cumin Lane (Lot 9) and has a Below Market Rate Price of $257,690.  It is a tri-level 1,703 square foot town home with 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and a 2-car garage.  This will be a "general admission" lottery without any additional requirements besides the customary household AMI requirement, similar to Lottery 1.0.
